Project Description
All American Painting Plus recently took on a rewarding project in Reston, VA, where we spent seven days bringing new life to a beautiful home built in 1992. Our team expertly removed and replaced approximately 300 linear feet of cedar siding and 200 linear feet of trim, including corner boards, fascia boards, rake boards, soffits, and window trim. We completed the transformation with a full exterior house painting project using Olympic’s Maximum Stain + Sealant in the elegant shade of Antique Silver.
Background/Story:
Steve, the homeowner, chose us because we offered a competitive price and have a strong reputation as a local company familiar with HOA requirements. His home hadn’t seen a fresh coat of paint in about eight years, and it showed. The cedar lap board siding was in rough shape, with several areas of dry rot and damage. Steve wanted to ensure his home looked its best and would be protected for years to come, so he turned to us for a full exterior makeover.
Our team quickly got to work, removing the old, rotted siding and trim with precision. We replaced it with new, high-quality cedar siding and trim, making sure everything fit perfectly. Despite some unexpected challenges, like dealing with more dry rot than anticipated, we stayed on schedule and maintained our commitment to quality workmanship.
