All American Painting Plus is looking for a personable, driven Field Marketing Associate to be the face of our brand across Northern Virginia. This role is built for someone who genuinely enjoys connecting with people, whether that’s a homeowner curious about a fresh exterior, a neighborhood partner, or a community contact who could send business our way.

This is an excellent opportunity for college students studying Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or related fields looking to gain real-world experience, and for the right candidate, this role has a clear path to grow into a full-time position.

About the Role

This is a relationship-first position. Your primary job is to engage with homeowners, with local partners, and with potential customers in the neighborhoods where we work. You’ll represent our reputation in person, spark conversations that turn into leads, and build the kind of local trust that keeps our pipeline full.

Responsibilities

• Conduct door-to-door outreach in targeted neighborhoods where homeowners have already been reached through prior mail and marketing campaigns. You’re continuing the conversation, not starting cold
• Build and nurture relationships with community partners, real estate contacts, and commercial partners through regular in-person touchpoints
• Engage authentically with potential customers, listen to their needs, answer questions, and create a positive first impression of our brand
• Distribute marketing materials and place yard signs at active job sites to maximize neighborhood visibility
• Represent All American Painting Plus at local events and partner quarterly meetings, building relationships with existing partners and actively identifying new businesses and contacts to expand our network
• Submit weekly activity reports tracking outreach, conversations, and leads generated

What We’re Looking For

• A natural connector, someone who enjoys talking to people and leaves a good impression
• Confident, professional, and comfortable initiating conversations with strangers
• Experience in sales, marketing, canvassing, or any customer-facing role (strongly preferred)
• Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, or a related field is a plus. Relevant coursework counts as experience
• Self-motivated and reliable, as you’ll be managing your own time in the field
• Organized, with the ability to track your activity and report results
• Reliable transportation required
